Dialysis is being done for kidney patients in Nalanda under Prime Minister’s National Dialysis Program and Ayushman Bharat. Under this scheme, poor and helpless kidney patients are getting a lot of help in their treatment. Many poor and helpless patients of the district have taken advantage of this scheme so far. A total of 124 patients have got the benefit of this scheme in two months.

There is no need of any kind of paper for this. Those who have ration card can take advantage of it. The beneficiaries have expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for getting free treatment. In this regard, Civil Surgeon Dr. Avinash Kumar Singh said that free dialysis is done for kidney patients through Ayushman card and ration card. Under this scheme, 10 to 15 poor patients are being given free dialysis daily in Sadar Hospital. Dialysis of patients is being done under the supervision of Nepro Plus Private Company.
